This section of Cape Coral Parkway will be widened from four to six lanes continuing the new section of roadway from the Del Prado Boulevard intersection up to the bridges over the Caloosahatchee River within the constrained right-of-way.  Pedestrian and bicycle accommodations will be considered.  Design issues also include ensuring that residents and businesses along Cape Coral Parkway have access heading both eastbound and westbound.
